Integrating schema theory and technology in teaching business Chinese
Abstract
The teaching of Business Chinese currently faces many limitations, such as a lack of practical connections, limited cultural understanding, and difficulties in learners' ability to express themselves accurately. To address these issues, the study proposes integrating schema theory with modern technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR). Schema theory helps learners organize and activate knowledge logically, while technology facilitates the simulation of real-world scenarios, enhancing practical skills. Innovative teaching strategies, such as creating situational schemas and utilizing automatic feedback, have proven effective in developing communication skills and logical thinking. Additionally, the use of real-world data and online tools enables learners to gain deeper insights into Chinese business culture. This approach not only improves the quality of learning but also meets practical application demands in international business environments. It represents a promising direction for advancing Business Chinese education in Vietnam during the digital era.
