Teaching modern chinese literary works to Chinese - majored students in Vietnam - based on Khổng Ất Kỷ by Lu Xun
Abstract
Chinese literature is an integral part of the curriculum for Chinese language major at many departments and universities in Vietnam. Literary language is refined, rich in creativity, and helps to showcase the talent and dedication of writers. The cutural essence of nation is strongly reflected in literary works. How to enhance the effectiveness of teaching Chinese literature to Chinese-majored students in Vietnam is a matter of great concern for educators and lecturers. In this article, through analysis and synthesis methods, based on the case study of Khong At Ky by Lu Xun, we discuss the teaching methods of Chinese literary works for Chinese-majored students. The discussion aims to improve the effectiveness of teaching literature in particular and the teaching of the Chinese language in general in Vietnam.
