Abstract

Abstract: This article focuses on the importance of properly defining the consent
element in human trafficking and suggests a suitable approach in Vietnamese laws.
Those suggestions aim to fill the gaps in the existing legal provisions to effectively
prevent human trafficking, which further serves to strengthen the current mechanism in
combatting modern slavery.
