Abstract

Abstract: With disputes involving numerous plaintiffs in different countries, the
class action mechanism (class action) can resolve certain issues, but it is still causing a
lot of controversy in Civil Law countries. The article will provide a general overview of
class actions to analyze the provisions of Vietnamese law on the recognition and
enforcement of foreign judgments and apply those provisions to the recognition and
enforcement of judgments in class action lawsuits to evaluate the possibility of
recognition and enforcement of such judgments.
