Abstract

Abstract: This article utilizes international standards of juvenile diversion to
analyze Canada’s application of legalistic extrajudicial measures in diverting young
offenders from the formal justice system. Based on these findings, the article proposes
concrete recommendations for improving Vietnamese criminal law in this area.
