Abstract

Abstract: Although real estate investment trusts have been regulated in Vietnam since
2012, the legal framework for their operation remains inadequate, hindering the
development of REITs in the country. This article analyzes theoretical aspects and
international legislative experiences in regulating REITs, compares these with Vietnam's
legal framework, and offers proposals for its improvement.
