Abstract

Abstract: This article analyzes both the regulatory framework and practical
implementation of the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the European Union’s General
Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Based on this analysis, the article offers
recommendations for improving Vietnam’s legal framework on personal data protection.
