Abstract

Abstract: During the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the development of cutting-edge
technologies has significantly facilitated the dissemination of information and
knowledge to the public. However, such advancement has also opened the floodgate for
the rampant infringement of copyrights and/or authorship rights, affecting the rights and
interests of relevant parties in intellectual property relationships. Protecting copyright
and authorship rights for Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based works is a novel and intricate
issue for many countries in the world, whose legal regulations are absent or inadequate
so as to comprehensively address the prevailing legal challenges. Drawing on
international legal experiences will contribute to complete Vietnam’s legal corridor
concerning AI, which helps Vietnam catch up with the trend of integration and
development.
