Abstract

Abstract: This article examines the international legal framework governing the
rights of transgender persons, focusing on international treaties and other relevant
human rights instruments. It then highlights the urgent need to ensure transgender rights
under international human rights law and discusses how these obligations relate to
current practices in Vietnam.
