Abstract

Abstract: This article clarifies the impact of transportation activities on the
environment and examines the principal limitations and inadequacies in the existing
legal framework on environmental protection in these activities. It then makes several
proposals to enhance the effectiveness of environmental protection measures in the
transportation sector.
