Abstract

Abstract: In the specific political conditions of Vietnam, where there is only one
ruling party, the Communist Party of Vietnam, and most cadres and civil servants are
party members, the relationship between party discipline and administrative discipline
requires careful examination to ensure compatibility between regulations on disciplining
Party members and regulations on disciplining cadres and civil servants. Within the
scope of this article, the authors will analyze the extent of compatibility and
synchronisation between the regulations on principles and statutes of limitations
applicable to disciplinary measures against Party members and those applicable to
cadres and civil servants, and at the same time identify certain shortcomings and
propose recommendations for improvement.
