Abstract

Abstract: The article analyses the inadequacies of the current legislation regarding
the supervisory activities of the Ethnic Council and the Committees of the National
Assembly of Vietnam across several dimensions: regulatory instruments, subjects of
supervision, methods of supervision, and the competence of the Ethnic Council and
National Assembly Committees in reviewing the results of such supervision. Based on
these findings, the article puts forward recommendations to improve legal regulations
concerning these matters.
