Abstract

Abstract: The article discusses the mission of jurisprudence in safeguarding the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the context of globalization, international integration, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the digital space. By clarifying the close connection between Marxism–Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology, the Party’s Platform and guidelines with the processes of constitutionalization and legalization in the Constitution and the legal system, the article highlights the distinctive role of jurisprudence as a bridge between political theory and legal architecture, between ideological foundations and the mechanisms for organizing and exercising state power. The author identifies several new challenges and proposes various ways to promote the role of jurisprudence (theoretical development, legal architecture, law enforcement, power control, academic debate, legal education, and human resource development), along with orientations to link the advancement of legal science with law-making, law enforcement, and international cooperation in the new
context.
