Abstract

Abstract: Intellectual property plays an increasingly important role in the creative
economy, but the current legal system still contains many gaps, especially in the
recognition of intellectual property rights, valuation mechanisms, registration systems
and the handling of secured assets. Based on theoretical research and an assessment of
the current legal framework, the article proposes a number of solutions to improve the
law on securing the performance of obligations through intellectual property in relation
to access to capital, with a view to enhancing legal effectiveness, increasing the
transparency of transactions, strengthening the trust of credit institutions, and
promoting innovation in the private sector in Vietnam.
