Abstract

Abstract: The article analyses the provisions on corporate social responsibility in
international investment agreements. For Vietnam, the article highlights the importance
of integrating provisions on corporate social responsibility into international investment
agreements and puts forward specific recommendations to improve the enforceability of
these provisions, with a view to enabling international investment agreements to become
effective tools for promoting “responsible” investment activities.
