Renovation in foundation course in Pre-school Central University for Nationalities towards the competency assessment exam of universities

Abstract

Currently, university preparatory institutions mainly focus on equipping ethnic minority students with academic knowledge, which ensures the admission into universities. However, it requires the adjustment in the knowledge fostering for pre-university students in order to fulfill the requirement of the competency assessment exam in many universities, which is a trend in admission innovation in universities of pedagogy, military, security... The update in instructional program, teaching method renovation, multidimensional evaluation system and training teachers are the urgent requirements to meet the demands of the education practices in high schools and universities for university preparatory institutions in general and for the Pre-school Central University for Nationalities in particular. The article illustrates the current situation's overview, analyses the opportunities as well as the threats while recommending several solutions to enhance the university preparation system fostering activity in the Pre-school Central University for Nationalities, when universities are taking the competency assessment exam as an admission criteria.
