APPLICATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) IN TEACHING VIETNAMESE MEDIEVAL POETRY IN HIGH SCHOOLS (AFTER THE DECISION TO USE ONE SET OF TEXTBOOKS)

Abstract

In implementation of Resolution No.71-NQ/TW of the Politburo, on December 26, 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision No.3588/QD-BGDĐT, officially selecting the textbook series "Connecting Knowledge with Life" (Vietnam Education Publishing House) for unified national use, starting from the 2026 - 2027 school year.

In the "Connecting Knowledge with Life" textbook series (Literature), Vietnamese medieval poetry holds a significant position and occupies a large portion of the curriculum. This content is challenging and quite unfamiliar to high school students in their learning and comprehension. To better prepare for teaching and learning according to the new regulations of the Ministry of Education, we propose several methods for applying information technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching Vietnamese medieval poetry. These are detailed and specific operations closely aligned with each lesson in the current textbook. These methods contribute to creating interest, stimulating self-learning and creativity in students through these challenging and abstract medieval poems; partially bridging the gap between "literature and life," removing barriers between the reader and Vietnamese literature of the feudal era; and helping the younger generation gain a deeper understanding of the culture, literature, and history of the nation.
