NON-PUBLIC EDUCATION IN VIETNAM: TRENDS, ROLE AND CHARACTERISTICS
Abstract
Public education and non-public education are two parts that exist in parallel in the Vietnamese national education system. Developing non-public education is an inevitable trend in accordance with the objective development rules of education in the world as well as in Vietnam. Non-public education is experiencing strong development in our country's current context because of important roles such as: Contributing to reducing enrollment pressure and universalizing education at all levels, especially preschool education preschool and primary school; mobilize extra-budget resources for educational development; promote an increase in educational quality; contribute to meeting the learning needs of learners; contributing to building a learning society and lifelong learning.
