Measures to develop listening skills for children with hearing difficulty at the age of 2 - 4 years old using hearing aids through BabyBeats software

Abstract

Children with hearing difficulty are affected by hearing loss, which affects their language and cognitive development. Developing listening skills is the basic foundation for language development in children with hearing difficulty, and using BabyBeats software is as a means to effectively develop listening skills for children with hearing difficulty in the early stages of using hearing aids, and it is designed to combine between music and movement appropriate to the psychological characteristics of the age group. The author's manuscript reflects the current situation of listening skills and the development of listening skills for children with hearing difficulty in some early intervention centers. On that basis, the paper proposes some measures to develop listening skills for hearing impaired children aged 2 - 4 using hearing aids through Babybeats software that have been tested. Experimental results show that the measures are highly feasible and applicable.
