ORGANIZING EXPERIENCE ACTIVITIES IN TEACHING HISTORY AND GEOGRAPHY GRADE 4 OF THE 2018 HIGH SCHOOL CURRICULUM

Abstract

     In the current context of comprehensive educational innovation, the quote "I listen, I forget. I look I remember. I do I understand” by Benjamin Franklin is still valid. Allowing students to explore and experience on their own will help them deeply understand subject knowledge, thereby arousing their emotions and passion for that subject. However, not all teachers in primary schools are fully aware of experiential activities. Within the scope of this article, we clarify the role of organizing experiential activities in teaching History and Geography, thereby providing a process and some measures for organizing experiential activities in teaching. History and Geography grade 4 of the 2018 high school curriculum to help teaching this subject achieve the desired results and quality.
