COMMON ENGLISH GRAMMATICAL MISTAKES AND THEIR EFFECTS ON LEARNERS’ PRESENTATION
Abstract
Despite the pivotal role of grammatical precision in effective communication, students often struggle with its proper application. This challenge can impede their ability to articulate clear and compelling speech. The article delves into the most common grammatical mistakes made by English learners, as well as other pertinent issues. It further scrutinizes how these inaccuracies can disrupt speech flow, confuse the audience, and ultimately compromise the overall quality of communication. By shedding light on these concerns, the article proposes various strategies to improve grammar in presentations, including regular practice, extensive reading and listening, thorough preparation and review of presentation materials, and seeking constructive feedback. These measures collectively aim to enhance students' grammatical accuracy and overall effectiveness in communication.
