Enhancing the Professional Competencies of Vocational Teachers in the Era of Education 4.0

Abstract

Education 4.0 is a smart education model - a new educational development model due to the high integration of information technology and educational development, with close links between schools and other stakeholders to provide learning conditions for learners with many opportunities to develop their own capacity in an open direction. Based on identifying the nature of education 4.0 and the challenges this model poses to vocational educators, the article discusses the professional capacity of vocational educators and some measures to develop the professional capacity of vocational educators in education 4.0 for vocational educators, from policy support to measures to build a smart environment at each vocational education institution.
