Developing a website for teaching history to 8th-grade students to enhance learning interest
Abstract
In order to adapt to the digital era and meet the requirements of innovation set forth by the 2018 General Education Program, the authors developed a website for teaching Grade 8 History. This initiative aims to enhance students’ learning interest and foster their historical competencies. Research findings indicate that with the support of the website, the learning process and information retrieval became more convenient and time-efficient, enabling students to manage their own learning more flexibly. This study not only has a positive impact on the development of students’ competencies but also ignites their passion for the subject, promoting active, autonomous, and creative learning in History in particular and in other subjects in general.
