Abstract

: "The Vietnamese General Education Literature Program" (2018) with the new Literature Textbook focuses on teaching reading comprehension skills genres of texts. This article presents some thoughts on the introduction of two Japanese literary works in the Literature textbooks for grades 6 and 9 of the Canh Dieu series. Hopefully these thoughts will help teachers and students better understand the Literature textbooks they are using.
