SOCIAL NETWORK OF TAY AND NUNG PEOPLE IN BAO LAM COMMUNE, CAO LOC DISTRICT, LANG SON PROVINCE IN LIVELIHOOD TRANSFORMATION

Abstract

    Social networks play an important role in helping people find jobs and develop farming and animal husbandry. Through research in Bao Lam commune, Cao Loc district, Lang Son province, the article presents the social network in changing livelihoods of the Tay and Nung when they are in the interior and when they go to work as migrant workers across the border. The role of social networks in each situation will show the ability to transform people's livelihoods. The research results contribute to clarifying the characteristics of the social network in the livelihood transformation of the Tay and Nung people in a border commune.
