RESEARCH ON THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT ABILITY OF THE IMMORTELLE VARIETY IN THE NORTHERN CLIMATE CONDITIONS

Abstract

Immortelle flower, also known as Xerochrysum bracteatum, is a species of plant in the (Asteraceae) family. When growing immortelle in a greenhouse under Northern climate conditions, the average seed germination rate was 92.11% and the average survival rate of transplanted seedlings was 96.29%. In the Northern climate, the immortelle grows and develops quite well. The plant has an average height of 130.33cm, the number on the main stem is 42.18, the growth stage leaves have a length of 18.30cm and a width of 3.59cm. No pests or diseases were observed during the growing process
