Abstract

Green tourism is a relatively new form of tourism that has been researched in Vietnam for over a decade. The main principle of green tourism is a commitment to development with environmental management, including protecting and improving the natural environment for future generations. Nghia Do is a highland commune of the Tay ethnic group located in Bao Yen District, Lao Cai Province. This place has unique natural landscapes, and the special thing is that the commune still retains its wild beauty and unique cultural values ​​of the indigenous people. The orientation of exploiting and developing the "Nghia Do xanh" brand to create new tourism products in the Bao Yen district not only brings economic benefits but also contributes to protecting the environment and preserving local culture, creating sustainable values ​​for the community and tourism industry in Lao Cai province.
