Current situation and solutions for managing teacher training programs studying two programs at the same time according to the quality assurance approach at hanoi motropolitan university
Abstract
This article examines the current status and proposes solutions for managing the dual-degree teacher education program at Hanoi Metropolitan University based on a quality assurance approach. Survey results from administrators, lecturers, and students show that the university has established a basic framework for the program, including admission regulations and training procedures. However, several limitations remain, such as inconsistent coordination among units, insufficient academic advising and student support, fragmented monitoring of learning progress, and limited integration of information technology in management. To address these issues, the article proposes several solutions: improving regulations and management procedures; enhancing staff and lecturer capacity; innovating student advising and support; strengthening digital technology application; upgrading facilities and learning resources; and establishing mechanisms for regular monitoring and continuous improvement following quality assurance principles. These solutions aim to enhance program management effectiveness and improve the quality of teacher training in the context of ongoing educational reform.
