Management of honesty education for students at Doan Thi Diem Primary School, Hanoi city through experiential activities

Abstract

This article investigates the management of honesty education for students at Doan Thi Diem Primary School in Hanoi through experiential activities, in alignment with the 2018 General Education Curriculum. Based on an analysis of theoretical foundations regarding honesty, honesty education, and experiential learning, the paper examines the characteristics of honesty among primary school students and the current management practices implemented at the school. Findings indicate that planning, organizing experiential activities, teacher training, assessment, and collaboration among educational forces have been systematically implemented, yet require further improvement to enhance consistency and practicality. The study proposes several measures—including organizing authentic experiential activities, integrating honesty education into subjects, strengthening school –family – community collaboration, innovating assessment practices, and fostering a culture of honesty to improve the effectiveness of honesty education for primary students.
