Abstract

The application of information technology (IT) in English language teaching has become an inevitable trend in the context of global digital transformation in education. IT not only supports teachers in imparting knowledge but also contributes to the innovation of teaching methods, enhances learning effectiveness, and expands access to knowledge for learners. Recent international studies have affirmed the crucial role of IT in improving the quality of English language teaching. The IELTS 9.0 Vietnam training system is one of the rapidly developing and influential international-standard academic English training models in Vietnam in recent years. Transferred from the Philippines and officially present in Vietnam since 2018, IELTS 9.0 inherits a proven training model from over 40 centers in the Philippines and has quickly expanded to more than 10 centers in Vietnam. This article does not address the current state of the research problem but focuses on synthesizing and generalizing theoretical content such as: 1) The concepts of the article; 2) The application of IT in teaching English according to international standards at the IELTS 9.0 English center system in Vietnam; 3) The management of IT application in teaching English according to international standards at the IELTS 9.0 English center system in Vietnam. Based on that, the article offers some recommendations to improve the quality of management of this activity at the IELTS 9.0 English center system in Vietnam
