SOME METHODS TO IMPROVE LISTENING AND SPEAKING SKILLS FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS: ANALYZE VIETNAMESE GRADE 2 TEXTBOOKS - “KET NOI TRI THUC VOI CUOC SONG”

Abstract

Speaking and listening are two necessary skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) in our life. These two skills raise people awareness about life, thinking and deal with problems in learning and communication. However, in the process of teaching Vietnamese in primary schools, there are still shortcomings that need to be solved in the practice of listening and speaking skills for students. Within the scope of this article, we offer some methods of developing listening and speaking skills for elementary students through the Vietnamese grade 2 textbook - "Connecting knowledge with life" in order to meet the needs of elementary school students requirements of the new general education curriculum
