New potential hanoi – red river tourism route

Abstract

River tourism is a type of tourism closely related to the rivers, taking advantage of natural and cultural resources in the river area and the surrounding area to build unique tourism products, meeting the diverse needs of tourists. In Hanoi, the Red River stands out with the potential for developing this type of tourism, playing an important role in promoting the "smokeless industry". However, the Red River tourism has not been effectively exploited, nor has it been fully promoted the available advantages. This study focused on analyzing the potential and proposed solutions to overcome challenges and remaining limitations to achieve sustainable development of the Red River tourism route. In addition, the study also aims to preserve and promote the value of Han Nom documents through tourism activities. The integration of the Red River tourism route into the tourism program of tourism students will bring opportunities to approach reality, help students learn more about the history, culture, and architecture of Hanoi, as well as the value of Han Nom documents. Thereby, students can improve their professional skills, enhance their ability to apply knowledge in practice, and orient themselves for career development in the future. Research results will provide a scientific basis for the proposal of practical solutions, contributing to raising the Red River tourism route, exploiting the potential effectively for sustainable development, and under the inherent value.
