OVERVIEW OF CONTEMPORARY RUSSIAN DIASPORA LITERATURE

Abstract

Abstract: Russian literature is great and has had a rich life in Vietnam. Vietnamese readers have known Russian literature of the Golden Century (19th century), Russian literature of the Silver Century (late 19th century - early 20th century), Soviet Russian literature, contemporary Russian literature, and Russian diaspora literature (mainly writers who migrated after the October Revolution for political reasons). However, contemporary Russian diaspora literature (late 20th century - early 21st century) is still lacking in the appearance and research of Russian literature in Vietnam. This article introduces some of the most basic points of contemporary Russian diaspora literature, from the migration context to the authors, typical works and main themes in their works.
