ENHANCING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION COMPETENCIES FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN VINH HUNG WARD, HANOI CITY IN THE ERA OF DIGITAL EDUCATION
Abstract
In the context of rapid digital transformation in Vietnamese education, primary school teachers play a key role in implementing digital teaching, developing technological competencies, and supporting students in accessing modern learning environments. Vinh Hung Ward, Hanoi, is an area experiencing rapid urbanization, with well-developed educational infrastructure, yet disparities in digital competencies among teachers still exist.
Based on a theoretical analysis of digital transformation competencies, digital education models, and international teacher competency frameworks, this study examines the current status of digital competencies among primary school teachers in Vinh Hung Ward, identifies influencing factors, and proposes a set of comprehensive solutions to enhance teachers' digital transformation capabilities. The proposed solutions include: 1) strategic management solutions; (2) management of infrastructure and digital resources; (3) professional development and instructional management solutions; and (4) solutions for collaboration among families, schools, and the community. The research findings provide scientific evidence to support the implementation of digital transformation programs in primary schools in Vinh Hung Ward, Hanoi city.
