FEATURES OF VIETNAMESE CHILDREN’S LITERATURE

Abstract

      Vietnamese children's literature has appeared since the 30-40s of the 20th century and had typical works, but it was not until 1945 that it really developed consciously with an increasing pool of authors, and an increasingly rich content with its own characteristics reflected. Researchers have shown that Vietnamese children's literature has both the basic characteristics of Vietnamese literature and its specificity because the target audience is mainly children. Inheriting the research results of previous scholars and basing on synthesizing the sources of assessment materials on Vietnamese children's literature, this paper will point out some basic features of Vietnamese children's literature to some extent help readers have a general overview of this content.
