Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer a foreign concept and has become prevalent in almost all industries, playing roles ranging from support to direct creation. With remarkable advancements, AI has evolved beyond being a mere tool, reaching the ability to make independent decisions in the creative process without the constant intervention of humans. However, the recognition of intellectual property (IP) rights for products created by AI is not yet standardized in many countries, including Vietnam. This article analyzes the current regulations in Vietnam’s IP law regarding AI-generated products, while also comparing them with the legal frameworks of the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. Through this, the article highlights the limitations of the current regulations and offers recommendations for improving the legal system to better protect rights, stimulate creativity, and foster investment in the digital technology era.
