COMPLETING REGULATIONS ON THE AT-LAW REPRESENTATIVE IN CIVIL PROCEDURE TO PROTECT DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE
Abstract
The at-law representative of the involved parties is the person representing the involved parties in case they are unable to exercise their civil procedural rights and obligations by themselves. In particular, individuals who must have a legal representative are often the weak ones who are receiving the attention of the whole society. The disadvantaged people need to be protected not only in separate legal provisions or criminal law but also can be protected by progressive civil and procedural institutions, which are representative institutions.
The article identifies vulnerable subjects who are protected through legal representatives. Through the analysis of current legal provisions and practical application of the law to clarify the inadequacies, thereby providing fundamental solutions for the protection of the disadvantaged through the legal representative today more effective and practical.
