ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT UNDER THE VIETNAMESE LAW AND SOME RECOMMENDATIONS TO IMPROVE IMPLEMENTATION EFFICIENCY

Abstract

Environmental Impact Assessment is one the new points in Vietnam's environmental protection legislation. Regulations on environmental impact assessment to identify entities as well as operating and monitoring mechanisms, control the analysis, forecast the impacts of investment activities and provide specific solutions The author's article analyzes the actual environmental impact assessment regulations under the current Vietnamese law; a number of new points and practical advantages and disadvantages to implement, from which to propose some solutions and recommendations to improve the law so that the implementation practice can be more effective.
