PRESIDENT HO CHI MINH'S IDEOLOGY ON BUILDING A RULE OF LAW STATE OF VIETNAM

Abstract

President Ho Chi Minh, The genius Leader of our People, our Nation. His ideology, including that of building and organizing a democratic State for the people, is forever a "guideline" in the construction a socialist state based on the rule of law for Vietnam.

The article clarifies His Thought on building and creating a truly democratic State, which is all geared towards the people's goals, with the core being: i) The state is the people's self established on the basis of democracy freedom election; ii) The State respects the law; iii) State transparency; iv) The State is organized scientifically on the basis of decentralization and control among power branches; and v) The State has a complete legal system. These ideologies of Him are completely consistent with the content of the socialist rule of law that Vietnam is pursuing.
