Evaluation of the levels of management accounting tools in the medium and small enterprises in Phu Yen province

Abstract

In Vietnam, the small and medium enterprises have not really created their strengths, and this group has only recently developed in the areas with low profit margins. At the beginning of 2017, Phu Yen province had around 1,734 enterprises with a total capital of 32,750 billion VND. The small and medium enterprises account for a major proportion, contributing quite a lot to the province's GDP and using a significant portion of the labor force. Recognizing this problem, the article synthesizes the research on the realities of using management accounting tools in small and medium enterprises in Phu Yen and proposes some policies to support such enterprises, aiming at improving the efficiency of using capital and assets, contributing to promoting the province's economic development.
