The desire for happiness in the poems of the Northern ethnic minorities

Abstract

In the poems of the ethnic minorities in the North of Vietnam, the contents of fighting for freedom to love and for the rights to women’s life in the old society can be considered a major content, associated with humanitarianism. It is a voice that praises people, sympathizes with human sufferings, defends people, denounces the forces of early feudalism that have restrained and violated people's rights to live... Thereby, people affirm their rights to pursue happiness in love. The article deeply analyzes and clarifies the expressions of the desire for marital happiness in the poems of ethnic minorities through some typical poems.
