Image of the Country in Giang Nam’s poetry

Abstract

Giang Nam is an outstanding face of Vietnamese poetry during the anti-American resistance war. Reading Giang Nam's poetry, readers encounter the image of the Fatherland in the fire of the anti-American resistance war with its sorrow, majestic beauty, especially the appearance of brave, resilient Vietnamese people, always looking forward. The article delves into the image of the Fatherland in Giang Nam's poetry, using a combination of research methods such as statistics, classification, comparison, analysis, synthesis, literary commentary to clarify the research issues. Through this, we recognize the national spirit, the soul of the country in Giang Nam's poetry; at the same time, there is a foundation to affirm the values of Giang Nam's poetry in the anti-American poetry.
