CHẾ TẠO OLIGOCHITOSAN “CHẤT KÍCH KHÁNG BỆNH CHO CÂY TRỒNG VÀ VẬT NUÔI” BẰNG PHƯƠNG PHÁP CHIẾU XẠ TIA GAMMA Co-60
Abstract
Chitosan is a carbohydrate biopolymer prepared from shrimp and crab chitin by deacetylation process. Oligochitosan was produced by gamma ray Co-60 irradiation of Chitosan in solution containing small amount of hydrogen peroxide. The irradiation method for degradation of Chitosan proved to be effective for large scale production. Oligochitosan exhibits potent elicitation effect for plants and also immuno-stimulant effect for domestic animals. Typical results on elicitation and growth-promotion effect of Oligochitosan on plants (rice) were outlined. Furthermore, the effect of Oligochitosan on domestic animal (chicken, pig and fish) was also presented. Thus, Oligochitosan, a bioactive substance, is promising for application as plant and domestic animal vaccine for sustainable development of agriculture.
