A traditional wedding ceremony by Cham H’roi ethnic minorities in Phu Yen must proceed through a close series of etiquettes, including the rites of worshipping Yang, the Gods, the ancestors, the engagement ceremony, the groom-meeting ceremony, the groom-reception ceremony, the wedding. ceremony, the gratitude-expressing ceremony, anf the festival. During their marriage life, the Cham H’roi people attach special importance to the concept of their families; the bride’s family holds the active rights; the couple find out about themselves based on a voluntary spirit, there is absolutely no compulsion or challenges in marriage. The common effort cmbination of the community during the wedding ceremonies show their strong, close-knit neighborhood relationships.
