The cultural language in Nguyen Dieu’s classical drama Liệu đố

Abstract

This article focuses on assessing the life of Nguyen Dieu, the Binh Dinh classical drama composer, and the unique values ​​of the classical drama Liệu đố, a typical classical drama of his works. From a cultural point of view, we have generalized and highlighted some linguistic features of Liệu đố. Through his cultural language, readers can find that the work has marked the development of the medieval classical drama in Nôm script in particular, and the classical drama of Binh Dinh in general.
