Individual Short-Term Exposure Assessment To 131I Vapor during Radioisotope Production Process
Abstract
This paper aims at assessing the individual short-term exposure due to the inhaled 131I vapor during the radioisotope production process with dry distillation method. The results reveal that the individual exposure is safe in term of internal exposure and varies significantly among the workers. Moreover, the study presents some valuable suggestions in order to constrain the internal occupational doses.
