The six-level framework for foreign language proficiency and the enhancement of foreign language education in Vietnam
Abstract
This article aims to analyse the contents of the six-level framework for foreign language proficiency in Vietnam, and evaluate its validity. Based on the work of comparing the CEFR and the implementation of the CEFR in other countries, the paper puts forward some suggestions on how to make the best use of this globally influential document to enhance the quality of foreign language education in Vietnam.
