The realities of bacterial infection on pork in some markets in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province
Abstract
Samples were collected and examined from 119 stalls the markets which supplied pork for consumption in Tuy Hoa city Phu Yen province. 71.67% of the surveyed pork samples qualified for the total number of aerobic bacteria; 80.83% and 88.33% matched the standards of E.coli and Salmonella (following TCVN 7046: 2002), respectively. Compared among the markets, microbiological criteria showed the results of highest quality in the markets of Ward 7 and the lowest quality in the Central Market of Tuy Hoa city.
