SOLUTIONS TO DEVELOPING TOURISM PRODUCTS BASED ON THE CULTURAL TOURISM RESOURCES IN PHU YEN PROVINCE

Abstract

Phu Yen province has great potentials for developing tourism, especially the advantages for developing the tourism products based on the cultural tourism resources. The article analyzes the potentials on the cultural tourism resources and the reality of developing the tourism products based on the cultural tourism resources in Phu Yen province; then recommends some solutions to developing the tourism products based on the cultural tourism resources in Phu Yen province. Based on such objectives, the study conducted a field survey on the cultural tourism resouces sites in Phu Yen province combined with analysis the reality of developing the tourism products based on the local cultural tourism resources. The findings showed potentials for the cultural tourism resources in Phu Yen province are so great with  a diversity of relics - landscapes, trades - craft villages, festivals - folklore and culinary capable of developing experiential, thematic tourism products as well as many other tourism products.
