THE IMPACT OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC FACTORS ON CLIMATE CHANGE
Abstract
The paper analyzes the impact of socio-economic factors on climate change. Analyzing data from 128 country from 2005 to 2014 by FEM, REM, GLS, the result shows that energy (kg of oil equivalent per capita), GDP per capita, merchandise trade have positive effect to CO2 emission. The policy implications are to reduce using oil and to change technology for economic growth. Keyords economic growth, climate change, FEM, REM, GLS.
